A sumo race is taking place in Dublin this month, with participants wearing inflatable sumo suits as they take part in a 5K race.

And the best part of it all is that they're running (or at least trying to!) in aid of Purple House Cancer Support.

Taking place in Marlay Park at 12 noon on April 22, Sumo Run Ireland already holds a world record for the the largest gathering of people dressed in sumo suits.

And 100% of the entry fee for the Sumo Run goes to the work of Purple House Cancer Support, which helps over 1,000 throughout Leinster every year.

Each participant will receive their own sumo suit, which is theirs to keep, there is also sumo yoga before the main Sumo Run, which is sure to attract a lot of attention.
