Nathan Carter's Search for a Star competition

"Not only will my manager John Farry and I mentor the winning act, but they will gain invaluable experience and learn how to achieve their full musical potential.

"The winner will thoroughly enjoy the buzz of performing in front of thousands of people, whilst touring with me all over Ireland and I'm sure they'll soon start to attract their own fan base along the way.

"They'll also enjoy the craic with my band; they're a great bunch of lads and the most talented musicians in the country, so the winner will undoubtedly learn a lot from them too.

"We're looking for a solo artist who writes and performs their own material and is not only talented but has the thirst, passion, determination and of course the right attitude to excel.

"We're delighted to have Dublin Live as a media partner and I'm looking forward to watching the video clips that are sent into them."

Aengus O'Hanlon, Editor of Dublin Live, added: "All of us here at Dublin Live are delighted to be able to play a part in Nathan's search for a star and excited to help budding Irish musicians showcase their talents to the world.

"We're really looking forward to seeing - and of course hearing - the entrants that come in to both Dublin Live and Belfast Live, and we are chuffed that Nathan has chosen our websites to be media partners for this prestigious competition that could be the making of Ireland's next music superstar."
