Easter is upon us and parents are frantically trying to find something to keep the kids occupied.

Easter Eggs are a child's best friend at this time of year and even better than that is an Easter Egg hunt.

There are loads of egg hunts around Dublin in the next few days.

Here is our pick of a few of the events.

The Cadbury Easter Egg hunt - Merrion Square

Cadbury make most Easter Eggs so a hunt run by them is bound to be worth going to.

Entry is €20 per family with a €5 fee for any additional members.

The website says: "Join us in Dublin’s Merrion Square Park on 30th & 31st March 2018 for a choctastic event, in support of Barnardos.

"Every eggsplorer will receive a delicious Cadbury Easter Egg when they complete the Egg Hunt, and there’ll be plenty more eggciting entertainment and activities for all your family and friends to enjoy."

Free Easter egg hunt at Smyths stores

On Saturday March, 31, Smyths Toys Superstores are celebrating by having a FREE Easter egg hunt in all stores nationwide. Come in-store from 9am - 2pm to join in the fun and take part in this egg-citing event.

Pick up your free clue sheet in any Smyths Toys Superstores on the day to take part in this event.

Children are also in with a chance to win a free 10ft trampoline in each of the stores, so be sure not to miss out!

Easter egg hunt at Lugwoods

It's a bunny old world...

The Easter Egg hunt at Lugwoods, near the Dublin Mountains, looks like a great day out for the kids.

It costs €8 for adults and €12 for kids and includes an Easter egg hunt as well as many other activities.
